For those unfamiliar with the man, Sakichi Sato is the screenwriter of Takashi Miik's Gozu and Ichi The Killer and stepped behind the camera to direct the very odd Tokyo Zombie himself. Needless to say, he's rather an odd man. And now Sato has gathered a collection of four equally odd directors for an omnibus comedy project titled Sonna Mucha Na!, which I presume Sato himself is functioning as a producer on. The four directors? Machine Girl helmer Noboru Iguchi - who contributes a film titled Granny Kiss and you can figure out where he's going with that - Ryuichi Honda, Tetsuya Mariko and, finally, Tokyo Zombie author Yusaku Hanakuma who apparently is directing his own very short remake of Sato's film based on his own manga. Which is confusing, but fun.
The official website for the film is up and running and includes a teaser of sorts but all that is included is footage of Sato running excitedly through an intersection while spouting what I assume are synopses of the four films that will make up the project.

Where the hell is a subtitled DVD of Tokyo Zombie by the way?
doesn't that title mean "this isn't tea"???
The title means something along the lines of 'That's Ridiculous'. Quite appropriate I think. I saw this at a film festival last september, it was pretty interesting. But weird. Very weird...
