Word is that Kaiju Shakedown's Grady Hendrix is here in Toronto this weekend and while he is no doubt cowering in fear somewhere lest I find his secure little nook and once again shame him with my thumb wrestling prowess he is also continuing to maintain his fine little corner of the internet. Today he brings news that Edko Films seems to be burying Johnnie To's new romantic drama Linger on some of Hong Kong's less desirable screens while also bringing a new, English subtitled trailer for the picture.

Even ifit's a weak To picture the decision to keep it off of the higher profile Hong Kong screens is a puzzling one because a) he's Johnnie To and thus one of the biggest things going in Hong Kong, and b) he's fresh of the major box office success of Mad Detective so you'd think they'd want to make the release of this one nice and high profile.
