Given the underwhelming box office of Grindhouse recently I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Dimension Films slip out the Tarantino-produced / Larry Bishop directed, seventies style biker gang flick Hell Ride - with one damn compelling cast of Michael Madsen, Vinnie Jones, David Carradine and Dennis Hopper - quietly, with minimal fanfare. Low expectations are the easiest to meet, after all, but damn if they haven't gone and given it one incredible poster. Yeah. This thing just oozes style and the details - such as the guy with the harpoon gun - promise all sorts of bloody fun within the film itself. Very nice.

Hell Ride is premiering at Sundance next week. Tarantino, Madsen, Carradine and Hopper have all been confirmed to be in attendance. I scored a couple of tickets, and cannot wait to see it.
I am also going to the U.S. premier of Diary of the Dead tonight. Romero has also been confirmed to be in attendance and will be leading a Q&A;after the film.
I would be happy to share some pics etc., if anyone is interested.
I've been dying for this to come out since Kill Bill volume 2. It's taken a while, but the stills, the poster, and especially the cast give me hope that this could kick some serious ass. Is Dimension trying for a theatrical release?
