Spanish director Alex De La Iglesia is a long standing favorite among fans of cult films having built his name with the likes of Accion Mutante and Ferpect Crime and with his latest he looks poised to make his presence felt in the mainstream. The Oxford Murders is Iglesia's English language debut, a thriller that stars John Hurt and Elijah Wood as an Oxford professor and student, respectively, using rules of mathematical probability to track - and hopefully capture - a serial killer.
