Lucky McKee made one of the more impressive self-introductions in recent years with May, a film that has inspired a loyal following for the young director, and many have been looking unsuccessfully for information but his latest, the upcoming Red. Based on the novel by Jack Ketchum, McKee co-directed this one with Norway's Trygve Allister Diesen and a stellar cast that includes Brian Cox, Robert Englund and Amanda Plummer. This one strays a bit outside of McKee's normal horror stomping grounds, the Norwegian Film Institute describing it as a "dramatic revenge story about an old man in search of justice and redemption after his closest friend and important inspiration for living, his dog, is brutally killed by three troubled teens."
No trailer for it yet, but the NFI have published a quintet of stills from the picture and you'll find 'em below in the linked gallery.

Not sure why you say McKee co-directed this. My understanding is he was replaced after a week of filming.
Indeed. He got into some kind of disagreement with the producers and was fired.
