I normally ignore this sort of industry wrangling as far as possible, but this kind of hurts. According to Aint It Cool the upcoming Heroes: Origins mini series has been cancelled before it even had the chance to start due to the impending writers strike. Sure, this season of Heroes has taken a few episodes to really get going but it's trucking along nicely now and I'm a bit of an addict and was greatly looking forward to this. But no more. Sigh.

Yeah this sorta blows. All that hype for nothing.I doubt though, that the writing strike was the only reason for the axing of "Heros: Origins". The ratings for "Heroes" really took a hit this season. NBC's cancellation kind of makes sense, because I doubt that scripts were finished for any episode of "Origins". Anyways, word on the street is that "Heroes: Origins" may be revived on a later date, possibly next season. Damn writers' strike...
I didn't mean it as in damn those writers. I meant the damn the situation they're all in as a whole, whether they be writers or producers or what not, as it affects not just them but the audiences of their shows. If I meant to condemn the writers, I would've said "Damn those writers going on strike." Anyways, word is out now that Episode 11 of Heroes will be the last episode this season if an agreement isn't settled. An alternate ending will be shot for episode 11, if used, will act as the season finale on the event the strike happens.
Thank you for your clarification. I'm sorry that I was too harsh in the previous post.
