Hey Todd I've been getting a slew of upload errors the last week, are there any issues you've been made aware of? I'm having a failure rate of about 1 of every 3 with some trailers having to be uploaded three or more times before it takes. It took me maybe 6 tries to get that Pulp Fiction trailer up which is just annoying.
Just a quick note - did anyone else get the email saying that after 18 Dec or thereabouts that this system wouldn't be accepting ANY new uploads, but would still be available for viewing?
That actually was a very poorly worded announcement that doesn't apply to us. They're no longer accepting wide open random uploads from the public for their Brightcove.tv web page but account initiated campaigns, such as ours, are compeltely unaffected. Our system will continue to function exactly as is.
I have also been facing a lot of upload errors lately an my wireless connection, and all indeed seems to work much better on the wire. That mail from Brightcove.tv also had me a bit worried, glad to hear we're not short-circuited there ...
