TRIANGLE Correction

Whoopsie. Rumors have been circulating since Cannes that the Johnnie To / Ringo Lam / Tsui Hark puzzle film Triangle was sent back for a re-edit following the Cannes screening and I repeated those rumors as fact in a recent post. Not so, apparently. I'm told by the powers that be at Milkyway that the post-Cannes changes were simply an audio remix and a fresh tuning of the print and that was all: the edit remains as is. Our apologies for getting it wrong.

I remember a post on KFC Cinema saying something along the lines of "People have seen the new edit and it is significantly stronger than what was shown at Cannes". So...they've been lying?

Don't know what they saw but word came to me directly from one of Johnnie's production crew that all that was done post-Cannes was the sound and "print tuning", which I assume means color correction. He was very clear that the supposed "major re-edit" never happened.
