Hee hee ... we've had a lot of fun covering the upcoming Finnish horror film Dark Floors - you'll find stills here - thanks to the involvement of Finnish monster-rock band Lordi who appear as demons in the film, performing in their normal stage makeup. Lordi first rose to international prominence when they won the Eurovision Song Contest with a lovely little ditty titled Hard Rock Hallelujah and we now present you with the video for that song. Enjoy.

It's too bad that HRH is the video/Eurovision tune... it is NOT the strongest song on the disc. And speaking of... The album, "The Arockolypse", is pure movie-monster, KISS-loving, hard rock fun.
Personal favs: It Snows In Hell, Who's Your Daddy, and Night of the Loving Dead.

The latter contains memorable lines like:
Bequeth thy loving/My body's cold/I'll take you in my coffin/Where you can kiss my bones

Funny bit:

Because of Lordi winning, this year's European Song Contest was held in Finland. It was covered on Dutch TV by a couple of announcers, one of them a famous comedian.

During one of the (many) Finnish tourism trailers which were spread throughout the program, an incredibly large and gaudily decorated building in Helsinki was shown (probably a ministry or courthouse or some such thing).
Both presenters were flummoxed about which building it was and after a few embarrassing moments of silence the comedian suddenly blurts out: "That's where Lordi lives!".
