Immediately after his star turn in the hugely acclaimed and very, very serious The Lives of Others the late Ulrich Mühe, who passed away after a battle with stomach cancer in July, went on to a key role in a German farce about the live of Adolf Hitler. With a full English title of Mein Führer: The Truly Truest Truth About Adolf Hitler with comic Helge Schneider in the role of Hitler the trailer for this one looks like the sort of thing Peter Sellers would have done back in the day. In other words it's very well shot and performed with an odd blend of the very stupid and the very smart. The film generated strongly mixed reviews but with a cast like this you can't really go too far wrong ...
