First Trailer For Stuart Gordon's STUCK

by Todd Brown, July 29, 2007 7:39 PM

It was just announced as one of the film in this years Midnight Madness program at the Toronto International Film Festival and now Bloody Disgusting have gotten their hands on the first trailer for Stuart Gordon's Stuck, with Mena Suvari and Stephen Rea. Here's the TIFF synopsis:

Brandi (Mena Suvari) hits Tom (Stephen Rea) with her car on her way home from a night of partying. With Tom still alive but lodged through her windshield, she promises to go a hospital but then decides to leave Tom to die in her garage as she realizes that her future is inextricably tied to her victim. Realizing this plan, Tom knows escape is his only chance for survival. Based on a true incident, director Stuart Gordon (THE RE-ANIMATOR) has made an urban chiller with a jagged edge of black humour.

Ooooh boy! This looks fantastic. And what a plot.
Still have to see Gordon's Edmond but it seems like he has a better track record with these types of films than the straight horror.

Edmond is one of the worst films in recent history. Gordon seems to lose even the most fundamental of skills when he made that rank turd.
Of course, adapting a Mamet stage play is never a wise move in the first place...
