To anyone who has seen this: How was Darius Khonji's cinematography? Would Chris Doyle have helped this film out?
Chris Doyle would've shot an entirely different picture all together. That being said, the look of this reminds me a whole lot of Chungking Express/2046 in terms of shot composition, but the lighting is nowhere near as soft (or as pretty) as Doyle's.
Thoughts? I feel like there should be more handheld stuff. Seems like Wong discarded that style with Happy Together.
Natalie Portman is terrible.
