More Bill?

Kill Bill executive producer says yes. Two more films worth of yes, to be precise. Tarantino is the man with the fastest mouth in the west and he's announced a load of intended projects that have never gotten made and probably never will, so I'm not about to hold my breath on these ever going beyond the talk stage. However, with that said, Grindhouse having been a major financial disappointment there's got to be a certain amount of appeal in returning to one of his most successful verntures.

"However, with that said, Grindhouse having been a major financial disappointment"

This statement will prove to be false once it's released on DVD. Not sure why people put so much importance into how a movie does at the theater in this day and age.

The films have yet to be released in Europe and I'm sure they'll do better than they did in the states.

I wonder how the US box office for Grindhouse will affect Inglorious Bastards.

I've been assuming that Grindhouse would make up for things with the DVD release since the opening weekend was such a disappointment.

It just seems like the kind of movie that would.

QT has been heavily implying that Inglorious Bastards would take on the form of a TV miniseries (probably on HBO or Showtime) so who knows when we'll see it and in what form. I think Grindhouse's failure has only affected the idea of it being a franchise and not on Tarantino's creative process.

What? No Tarantino-haters on here yet?

Death Proof by itself has been released in Europe and it did crap there as well. Which kills the re-release in the states as separate films also.
Doesn't bother me. I'll wait for the Special Edition DVD in about three years.

Really? Because according to imdb.com (admittedly, maybe not the best source) other than the US and Canada, the only places that have opened were Israel, Russia and Bulgaria...this past weekend. Not to demean any of those countries, but are they really indicative of what to expect from the world audience?

Like anything Tarantino you have to take it with a grain of salt until he actually starts filming... I would love to see the animated prequels though, I just rewatched VOl 1 last night and the anime sequence has a wonderful design sense, the aprt with Oren on the roof is amazing.
