A Hollywood funded thriller starring Luke Wilson? Well, I like me some Wilson from time to time but have never really had the urge to see him acting in this sort of thing so, honestly, I'd be inclined to give Vacancy a pass if not for one thing: Nimrod Antal. The Hungarian director turned a lot of heads with his feature debut Kontroll and now he's back for round two, this time with a studio budget. The result? Man's still got a great eye and the trailer for this looks remarkably good. Wilson stars as one half of a young married couple stranded in a remote hotel where they slowly realize that they are the latest targets for the maker of a series of snuff films.

We all knew this was going to happen. If Kontroll isn't a calling card for moving into to Hollywood, I don't know what is...

Since I love Kontroll to pieces, I'm really looking forward to this...yes, really.

The trailer has me thinking this is the kind of film that falls apart in its final act, but god damn, does it ever look good. I'm really looking forward to it now, too.

He definitely has a great eye, however, I hope that he can bring a good story with the stirring visuals as Kontroll didn't have much of a plot to it.

That trailer sure looked purdy. Loved Kontrol so here's hoping his first taste of Hollywood doesn't fuck up his game.

I haven't seen Kontroll, but the premise for this film is solid and the trailer is ten sorts of great.

I really liked Kontroll a lot and I would argue that it does have a plot. Granted, it's the kind of plot that has to filled in a bit with your imagination in places but there is intentional room for that and I happen to like that in films.

This is a very hollywood kind of trailer(I'm sure you know what I mean), therefore it's very difficult to infer what the movie will actually be like. I wish it to be good but I'm not putting my hopes up.

The Director Nimrod Anatl hass an amazing ability to bring realism & palpability to any project he does. I can't wait to see his next project, and expect to see more greatness from him in the future, if not a grammy.
