Tsui Hark, who is a love/hate kind-a-guy around here, has signed on to direct an "Eye" movie. The series started with Danny and Oxide Pang, and has spawned several sequels (Eye 2, Eye 10) as well as two Hollywood remakes (currently in development hell, which is fine by most of us). Hark's film is the first asian entry to the series not to be directed by the Pang Brothers.

"The story follows a psychiatrist, mourning the loss of her husband in a diving accident, who brings herself to the point of death in the belief that it will re-unite her with her husband."
