What appears to be the very first production still to leak out from Mathew Vaughn's big screen adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Stardust has appeared on a Spanish website and the level of production detail is truly impressive. If Vaughn pays this sort of attention to detail right across the board then we could have something pretty special here. The still features a shot of Michelle Pfeiffer as Lamia.
very cool pic. Is the Lamia character the same Lamia as in the Neverwhere series and book? (I obviously haven't read Stardust yet)

I think that Stardust is a pretty weak book, but maybe it'll make for a decent film. Either way, I would have preferred a film version of American Gods.
