Because I missed out on the trailer for this in the past (how?), because the title completely threw me until i saw a certain scene in the trailer, because she's saucy, because I like japanese design, and finally because there's a cheapo thai DVD out there with English Subtitles on it.

Fun (if slight) movie. Definitely worth picking up for the cheap price. It's like a backwoods Repo Man.

Trailer is unbelievable! Very cool floating aliens. Is Vanessa appearing as herself in it?
Nope. Her character is the daughter of Concia, daughter of Bosco, the man who runs the town. Sort of a local celebrity and aspiring rock star.
The movie on a whole is incredibly silly and a bit sloppy but the alien carnage is wicked fun. And the ending of the film has this Planet of the Apes/Evil Dead II kind of feel to it. Am I right?
Don't spend a whole lot on it but if you can get it cheap and spend the rest of your coin on enough beer than it is destined to become a cult favorite.
