First Concept Art For J.T. Petty's The Burrowers

J.T. Petty strongly divided audiences with his previous film, S&MAN. Hell, he strongly divided us here at Twitch with Mathew proclaiming it an absolute masterpiece while Gom was more that a little irked that the film was marketed as a documentary despite deceptively fictitious elements. But, hey ... if you're provoking tht borad a range of reactions you've got to have something going on and what Petty's got going on right now is an upcoming creature feature titled The Burrowers. Check the synopsis:

The Burrowers tells the story of a band of courageous men who set out to find and recover a family of settlers that has mysteriously vanished from their home. Expecting the offenders to be a band of fierce natives, the group prepares for a routine battle. But they soon discover that the real enemy stalks them from below.

Whuzzat? Sounds to me like Petty's essentially taking the premise for Tremors, giving it a bit of a period setting and then playing it for straight up horror. Yes, please.
