Trailer for Vexille, Sci-Fi CG Animated film

A trailer is now online for Vexille (ベクシル 2077 日本鎖国), the sci-fi CG animation from Fumihiko Sori, the director of Ping Pong and the producer of Appleseed. In Japan, its not often that we see a CG animated film in the market compare to the traditional animation so this is a breath of fresh air for me. Perhaps that may change in years to come depending on the sucess of Vexille. For a refresher on the plot summary, go here.

Shochiku Films is scheduled to release the animated film in Japan around August.
