Eric Carter's A Very Sunny Morning, A Heaping Dose of Oddity to Start Your Week ...

Eric Carter, I suspect, is a very odd man. Part of what appears to be an art collective called Mainstream Multimedia Carter shoots experimental, low budget short films and has just released his latest online. Titled A Very Sunny Morning it starts off like a textbook example of seventies film making about a man who really likes his eggs. You've got your classic split screens, dolly shots, wipes and pans, and a bit of hand held grittiness set in a vintage kitchen. It all feels like childhood before it goes weird. I'm not even going to try and explain what this is actually about so I'll let Carter do it himself:

A Very Sunny Morning is an experimental surrealistic comedy about one man's relationship; his relationship with his girl, his breakfast, his television set, his self, and to reality. Or is it?
