God bless the good people - errr, person - at Onar Films. This is one obsessive company, dedicated to digging up the cultest of cult films from 1970's Turkey, a country and an era not exactly known for their attention to archival processes. Onar has managed to dig up and reassemble utterly mad superhero film 3 Dev Adam - review here - plus a pair of classic kilink films and they're next turning their attention to a pair of cult horror titles, releasing as a double bill in February.
First is The Dead Don't Talk a 1970 gothic horror piece that looks to lift elements from every major 70's horror genre imaginable. Part two of the double bill is Thirsty for Love, Sex and Murder, a distinctly Turkish spin on the giallo. Apparently they've managed to dig up good quality source materials on both of these so the discs should be reasonably good.
