[Korean Film News] "The Host" Remake Rights Sold

Lol, Roy Lee, I'm "very surprised" ;) Is it the record guiness of the the quickest rights sold for a remake? Sorry but it's totally ridiculous. People will naver know that this film was korean before being american.

Also, the American/UK posters are god awful. If they were trying to turn away people from this film, then they're gonna succeed. Ugh.

They should've taken some note from the Korean ones.

I'm struggling to find a local cinema that shows The Host around here, since it's on limited release, it's looking pretty hard to track down. It's a shame, I wanted to watch it again with a huge crowd of people.

Its great to watch in a full cinema especially when everyone is really anticipating it, you can feel the electricity, first Korean Movie i've had the pleasure of watching at the cinema it was great.

This bullshit. Why assume that Americans would be unwilling to watch the first version? Why not just re-release it in the states, in more theatres? I will NOT be seeing this.
