We have an update on the Tsui/Lam/To Jigsaw project!

The exciting project, dubbed the Jigsaw project is set to start filming soon. The ambitious project helmed by three directors, Tsui Hark, Ringo Lam and Johnnie To will join together the creative talents of all three directors, each responsible for creating one third of the film. Tsui will start the film, Lam will fill in the middle and To will complete the story.

First of all we now know that it has a title. The literal translation is THE IRON TRIANGLE.

Second, we have a premise that will start the film. A few guys with little money and a lot to worry about gather together to chat about how to get rich. Then a mysterious man sitting in the same room approaches them with a treasure map. However, to get their hand on the treasure, the map is only the first of a series puzzles they have to solve.

Third, we hadn't reported and casting news but reports say that the cast includes To regular Simon Yam [name a To film, any film], Louis Koo, who has starred in projects for Tsui and To [Election 1 and 2, Throwdown, The Legend of Zu], Kelly Lin [Legend of Zu and Fulltime Killer] and Sun Hong-lei [Seven Swords].

While not much has been said about Tsui and Lam around these parts To has become an absolute darling this past year. Because of him alone I will keep a watchful eye out for more news Twitchers.
