He's your average working class daddy selling junk food near the banks of the Han River. It's a nice afternoon, people are enjoying their time camping out near Korea's most famous river, some even listen to their favorite tracks, some play with their pets, some try to score a goal with their date. Then... Then...
'It' comes. And their lives change forever.
Bong Joon-Ho's 괴물 (The Host) needs no more introductions, so all we can do is show you the Theatrical Trailer, which was finally released today (I suppose it might not be the last as we're still 6 weeks away from release, but it's definitely the first). Then, Twitch regular Jiangtou points us to some other shots of Bong's Baby Monster via YouTube -- I have no idea what's in these as Todd just passed me the link, and my Internet Connection still lives in 1999, so I'll just trust them! Also, thanks to Twitch regular Isao K for the pointer. Now the goods:
Host YouTube Clip 1
Host YouTube Clip 2
Theatrical Trailer (Streaming, 300k, Windows Media)
Theatrical Trailer (Streaming, 700k, Windows Media)
Theatrical Trailer (Downloadable, 9mb, Windows Media)
loooking sexahhhhh :D
Damnit, I was looking forward to this movie very much but some bastard in Daum Movies posted up this huge spoiler (apparently heard from his/her friend in Cannes) and now it's all ruined for me. =(
아이구, 치사하게... if it's the 배두나 one it's pure baloney though.
Never read stuff like that because you always get the random 찌질이 spoiling flicks the moment he sees them -- usually the biggest warning would be 오늘 '모영화' 봤다. DVD Prime Boards and DC Inside are pretty good with spoiler warnings, but the mainstream movie portals are a mess, without anyone modding comments.
I got more emotional watching this trailer than most films I've seen this year. I busted a gut when Park Hai-Il drop-kicked Song Kang-Ho. And that pan on Bae Doo-Na right before her name appears on-screen. Damn.
"현서야~!!!"
Holy Crap!!
Were my eyes decieving me? During YouTube Clip #2, during the Cannes scene was that Colin Geddes who was interviewed?
As in Colin Geddes Programmer for the TIFF Midnight Madness!!!!!!
Sweet Jebus, fingers crossed Colin lands this for this years TIFF!!!!

Ah, glad to hear that the so called spoiler is a farce =) Thanks for the advice. Ever since that happened, I've never went to any movie sites.
Eh, people on the net. I still remember the '박해일 범인이다' posts back when 살인의 추억 releases.
My advice is read reviews at reliable places (Film2.0, Cine21, nKino) and skip all the rest until you've seen the film.
If Bong Joon-Ho pulls off another Memories of Murder/Barking Dogs, I'll die of happiness.
