Stand Alone Complex : Solid State Society. Fist Pictures & Trailer Online.

(Posted In Action Animation Asia Drama Sci-Fi / Fantasy TV Trailer Alert )

3rdgig.jpegI will continue to follow this one, very quickly revealed to be a new movie in full Cinema Quality and running for 100 minutes, and this footage (plus my interest in all the previous work) will be my reason for doing so. The shows themselves, plus the second movie - 'Innocence' - are still only comparatively recent in terms of official releases, though they may well have been around a couple of years or more in download form, so they are strangely contemporary and not yet 'fully milked' in my eyes, plus they're quality is very high so they're hardly transitory works, they should last a very long time.

Anyway, the Tokyo Anime Fair is revealing it's fruits to online audiences now, thanks to a series of nice fansites and so on. The trailer for 'Solid State Society' is fairly lengthy and gives lots of snippets of footage, montaged together to show a sense of the quality of the animation (certainly several levels above what you can financially produce for TV, and what can be turned around in small time-scales too) which will be on offer. Now, I still hope for R1 (or elsewhere, at least with English Subtitles if you see what I mean) of the amalgamated 'Individual Eleven' and 'Laughing Man' movies culled from the TV shows, at some point in the future.

I'm a huge Ghost In The Shell fan. I've been dying to watch this film. I'v downloaded numerous Torrent files; with no subs, one with chinese subs, and another with Japanese subs...T_T

Any one know were I could get soft subs?

I found some here,

Opensubtitles.org

but with the film I've downloaded, the subs are like, 10 seconds late, and when I add 10 seconds of extra footage, the subs work for the first 20 seconds but then dissapear... ? WTF?
