English Subtitled Clips From Miike's Big Bang Love Juvenile A!

Two English subtitled clips from Takeshi Miike's prison drama Big Bang Love Juvenile A - more info here - have turned up on the Teddy Awards website, the Teddy's being awards given to queer films at the Berlinale. The site is also hosting an unfortunately un-subbed Q&A sessions with Miike held at the film's premiere.

This is definitely Miike in his serious, experimental mode, probably farther in that direction than he's ever gone before, and it looks to be pretty stunning stuff. Very nice.

Screendaily wasn't a fan. There is a review on their site. I'm still intrigued though!

Q & A in english!!
Listen guys, the Q & A is in english. After roundabout five and half minutes, there comes an english translator on the stage. From this point the questions and answers in the talk with Miike and Ryuhei Matsuda will be translated to german and to english, too.

sorry, little mistake. Miike and Masanobu Ando are in the Q & A, and not Ryuhei Matsuda! But from minute 5:30 on, it's in english available.

thanks ben and damon for the 'big bang love' and 'imprint' clips (respectively) - superb finds, made my day, made me do a little dance (bizarre though it was)... both look superb and very different from one another : thats what we like to see...!
