First X-Men 3 Trailer Online!

Heh, just made a post about this in the forums. I agree that the trailer is actually pretty damn cool and believe me, it got me all excited again. But still... Brett Ratner... and the weird things I've been reading about the story. I don't know, I still don't want to get my hopes up. But maybe it's too late for that now...

*surpresses feelings of excitement and anxiety*

Wow. Saw this earlier and I echo everyone's comments. Especially about losing Nightcrawler (one of the Holy Trinity of the X-Men - Logan, Kurt, and Piotr) - but we gain Colossus, so perhaps there is a fastball special in our future?

I'm also a very big fan of Angel and I exhaled a breath of relief when I saw the first shot of the wings. They look damn fine. I too worry about Beast, but I had the same feeling about NC in the trailers, so I am going to wait on that one. I'm not crazy about the face makeup, somehow they missed the mark with the look of the Beast's face, but even so, it's not terrible. Just not sure. And the acting may take it up a notch. Certainly like the idea of Kelsey Grammer playing the part.

So, in all, I was pretty impressed, considering I'd pretty much written this off as another botched trilogy.

Oh, and I like Storm's new 'do'. I was hoping for the mohawk, but the short hair will do. Certainly like it a lot more than the 'almost, but not quite' white hair.

I echo the comments above. The trailer looked better than I expected and I'm diggin Beast's look considering what could have been. It does suck losing Nightcrawler, personally I liked how Cummings played him.

I think I'll start passing over coverage to keep my hopes from rising too much...that strategy works for me.

I agree with Chelle about Beast. I'm glad they stuck to good ol' fashioned make-up, and downplaying CG.

And Vinnie Jones gets more badass everytime I see him.

Argh--I'm getting the broken Q image, which means I can't watch the trailer, even though I just tried downloading Quicktime again. I want to see if Kitty Pryde is in the trailer--I followed her in Excalibur comics, so it should be interesting to see how she's portrayed here.

Count me in. This saga is my favourite among comic-to-movie adaptations. I still feel scared about Ratner... But guess what, I think that he knows he can't do much with so little time. So he's copycating Singer's X-2 (the epic, the development, etc), and adding x10 mutants. Let's hope that the characters themselves have enough weight to carry the movie even with that director.

Oh, and Cyclops is kicking and screaming. At last!!

three movies and still no gambit! and alan cumming's nightcrawler was my favorite thing about x2...of course, I'll still end up seeing this anyway, brett ratner and all...

Kitty is in there in at least one shot - it's a group one with Cyclops, Storm, Wolvie, Colossus (yes!) and Shadowcat (ie. Kitty Pryde). There might be others, but those are the ones that spring to mind.

I would like to see Jubilee in some action with kitty pryde and rogue with collossus. Because you see cameo performances of Jubilee
and shadowcat. Yeah I just like to see what jubilee can do with her powers. What she calls fireworks. I hate what they did with nightcrawler being out of X men 3. I like his action but I also would like to see Gambit. I am so looking forward to see Jubilee and rogue closer to the comic and the tv series. So who would not like to see jubilee in X men 3

I'M a huge X-men fan. I really liked X-men 1 and 2 and im sure I will like the third. I also have not seen the X3 trailer yet because Brett Ratner has put the trailer settings on Quicktime only. Quicktime where I am living does not work and it sucks like crap. I was just wondering who ever sees this message for the love of god and X-men please write a letter to Mr.Ratner telling him to put the settings on Windows Media Player. Thats the only setting thats working here. Please I've been waiting a long time for the trailer and i can't watch it. I'm begging who ever sees this comment tell ratner. I feel like crying. Go Wolverine,Beast,and Colossus. I would say Night Crawler but he left. Him leaving made me cry. So please do this for me I am useless without the Trailer.

WHY ISN'T NIGHTCRAWLER IN HERE!!?? Already I am pissed off! Yes I'll see the movie Brett's direction and all but it just won't be the same without nightcralwer! Dern! But angel does look too sweet and collossus and Cyclops are getting much deserved screen time! But where's nightcrawler!!??

X-MEN 3...If it shows July 2006, when will we Chinese fans see it...

Man Quicktime sucks I agree. Windows media has always been my favorite way of viewing trailers. Anyways for the unfortunates who can't see the trailer there are screencaps. Just gotta look around the internet for X-Men 3 trailer screencaps. I really enjoyed one screencap of the Brotherhood looking like their marching like soldiers. But with the Brotherhood I saw Jean Grey? I guess Magneto somehow finds out about the Phoenix thing and takes her under his control. This should be an interesting installment to the X Men movie series. I have faith in Brett. I agree no Nightcrawler sucks as well as Gambit. But with all the new characters it would be hard to do them both justice. But I heard rumours that Colossus contacts Nightcrawler through a hologram communicator. I just hope they introduce the Sentinels and Gambit in this one.

Is anyone else pissed how in the fisrt movie they downplayed cylcops; and in the second movie they made him seem like a wuss. Sure it is very romantic that he truley loves Jean, but come on in the origianl comics and the later animated cartoon Cylcops was still the leader. It seems that the movies are really pressing hard on Wolverine. He is cool, but he is not the true leader. I want to see Cylcops really tear some people up, like he did in the cartoons. Just wandering if any one else was a little irratated about this.
