Twitch Exclusive! Zoetrope Trailer!

(Posted In Cult Film News Sci-Fi / Fantasy Trailer Alert USA and Canada )

zoetrope.jpgA while back I ran this review of Charlie Deaux's Zoetrope praising the film's incredible visual style. It's a loose adaptation of Kafka's In the Penal Colony with original music by dark ambient pioneer Lustmord and it is absolutely gorgeous, a must see for fans of Chris Marker, Shinya Tsukamoto and David Lynch.

And now you can.

Twitch has got an exclusive look at the 3+ minute trailer for the film and it is just stunning. And, yes, the entire film is just as good. Check it out.

Excellent film. EASILY worth what they're asking.

Oh my god! Unbelievable! I cant believe it! I have seen this director's previous work prior and just put it all together. This is a very cool immersion in mind tripping cinema! How did they do it? Very cool stuff!

How is the packaging? Just a regular keep-case or something a bit more fancy?

» Posted by big burgers at October 31, 2005 10:16 AM

The package is a three-panel, A5 digi-pak format, with matte finish. All grey-scale. Very attractive.

how nice :)
any idea wether the digipak is some sort of soleilmoon webshop exclusive or if the edition that hits the shelves in a week (http://www.dvdpacific.com/item.asp?ID=699633) is exactly the same?

» Posted by big burgers at October 31, 2005 03:54 PM

I believe the packages are the same.
