Just So You UK Folk Don't Feel Left Out: Firecracker Showcase Lineup Announced

Apparently it's festival announcement day today ... just posted big news for our readers local to Toronto as well as those in New York and now here's big news for those of you in London, England as opposed to London, Ontario which today featured a high speed chase with police druisers, helicopters and people hanging out of the back of SUVs with fully automatic machine guns. You just never know what's going to happen in those sleepy Canadian university towns ... but I digress ...

Firecracker Magazine, one of the best games in town when it comes to Asian film coverage, have announced the lineup for their 2005 Film Showcase. Running September 8th - 18th it features 40 films from all around Asia and the lineup's VERY good ... A Bittersweet Life, Yuthlert Sippapak's Pattaya Maniac, Kim Ki-Duk's Samaritan Girl, Malaysian award winner Sepet, Howl's Moving Castle, The Hidden Blade ... just a really fantastic lineup from top to bottom.
