Spawn Animation Teaser Online

(Posted In Action Animation Horror TV USA and Canada )

spawn.jpgI've never been that big a fan of Todd McFarlane's Spawn - I personally find his baseball purchasing exploits both more eccentric and more entertaining - but there's certainly no denying that the new Spawn animated series is pretty big news and hotly anticipated.

I just got a note from Twitch regular Loonatik steering me to the new Teaser Trailer from the series that screened at this year's San Diego Comic Con over on the official Spawn site. Very little in the way of actual animation but the mood is good and the still frame art looks fantastic. Check it out.

I enjoyed the early HBO stuff eventhough I think it got too caught up with secondary characters too much. It had a dark anime quality to it that I really dug too, haven't seen the show in ages but this looks quite impressive.

I honestly think that the movie was great. The series were a bit doll. Nothing really happended, we want more ACTION.

Spawn is one of those cool characters that has alot to offer. He has like a zillion tricks and we hardly see he does a few.

Even though the movie weren't a hit like Xmen or Spiderman, I hope that they will make another Spawn movie. Spawn 2 should have more Action, more enemies and more blood.

I am a proud owner of the first animated series DVD, and I have to admit that even though the story was good it was more concentrated in secondary characters and I can see that alot of people agree, as far as the movie goes they don't need to make a sequel all they need to do is start over with a new one, it has done wonders for TV series Battlestar Galactica and movies like Batman Begins, I must say that I was very disapointed in the movie which I thought was to cheesy storywise as far as the acting there was no good acting at all, that's the reason why I like the animated series better. Well I hope they do this character some justice and make him rise to the top where he belongs.
