Christoffer Boe's Allegro! First Still and a Synopsis ...

(Posted In)

allegro.jpgI've been digging around for information on the latest by Reconstruction director Christoffer Boe - see my Reconstruction review in the archive - for the last little while and though there's not a trailer yet, I have found that one image and the following synopsis:

"After a long absence, famous pianist Zetterstrøm returns from New York to his native Copenhagen on the occasion of a gala concert. A perfectionist by nature, he has one major personal flaw; he has lost the memory of his past. But when he is contacted by a messenger from a mysterious off-limits "zone" in the middle of the city, he connects with what lies behind him, what made him run away: his love for the captivating Andrea. He hopes for the past to come back to him but the "zone" does not sell dreams: it leads him to remembrance of things past."

He's obviously as fascinated by issues of memory as he was in his debut and I'm itching to see what he's come up with here ...

If you're interested there's a fantastic interview with the man here.

Cool... I really liked Reconstruction (here's my review) and agree that Boe is one to keep an eye on.
